Ingredients

  • pork shanks - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • garlic - 1 head, ground or crushed
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • vinegar - 2 tablespoons, or lemon juice
  • oil - ½ cup

How to make

Take the pork shank, cut it into 3-4 servings and add salt, sprinkle it with ground black pepper and rub it with pressed garlic, diluted with a little vinegar or lemon juice.

Place the meat in an oven dish and pour in the oil and a little water. Put it to bake in a moderately heated oven, initially covered with aluminum foil.

Serve the shank garnished with salad, pickles or mashed potatoes.
