Ingredients

  • eggs - 2
  • sweetener - to taste, by choice
  • flour - 1 cup whole wheat
  • oat bran - 1 cup
  • margarine - 2 tablespoons, dietary
  • milk - 1 cup, skimmed
  • baking powder - 1 tsp (5 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp or less, optional

How to make

Beat the eggs very well with the margarine. Add the sweetener, oat bran, baking powder, cinnamon and milk.

Beat until homogeneous and transfer the mixture into a greased cake form. Put the cake for diabetics to bake in moderately heated oven – the top of it has to crack at the end.
