How to make
Mix the eggs and sugar. Add the butter and cinnamon, then the flour and baking powder (sifted through a sieve to make a fluffy cake).
Peel and grate the apples (not in advance, so they don't darken) and add them to the mixture. Stir with a spoon until you get a uniform mixture. Pour it into a tray or cake form, the bottom of which you've oiled ahead of time.
Bake for 50-60 minutes in a preheated 300°F (150°C) oven.
