Ingredients

  • confectionery cream - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • brown sugar - 2 tbsp
  • vanilla - 2, (0.4 g)
  • gelatin - 1 tbsp, white, finely ground

How to make

Dissolve the gelatin in a small cup with about 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) cold water, leave it for about 10 min. to swell, then heat in a water bath until the gelatin melts completely.

Pour the cream, sugar and vanillas in a deep container. Start heating this mixture on low heat while stirring slowly, without letting it reach boiling point.

Once it's well heated, remove from the stove and stir in the dissolved gelatin.

Distribute into suitable bowls and leave in the fridge for at least 4-5 hours.

There's a technique for serving panna cotta in a saucer, upside down, but personally I prefer to use pretty bowls, pour it into them and serve.

Optionally, you can garnish with fruit jam.
