How to cook
Heat the oil or butter and add the flour and walnuts all at once. Stir well and cook the flour until it changes color.
Separately, make a syrup form sugar and water. Pour it in all at once in the flour and stir vigorously until the mixture begins to separate from the bottom of the container. Make a ball out of it
Remove the pot from the heat, put the lid on and let it sit for about 5 minutes to rest. Then, with slightly oiled hands and using a spoon, shape small balls or eggs, arrange them on a plate and let them cool completely.
