Ingredients

  • feta cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • tomatoes - 2 lb (1 kg.)
  • onions - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g) or margarine
  • rice - 2 tablespoons
  • celery - leaves
  • parsley

How to make

Peel the tomatoes, boil them with the onion and celery, and then blend everything. Put one cup of water to boil and then add the rice and butter.

After 15 minutes, remove from the heat, season with parsley and grated feta cheese. Serve immediately.

The soup can be thickened with a yolk and 2/5 cup (100 ml) milk.
