"Plums are favorite fruits for both men and women. Men like them for the plum brandy and women - for this Homemade Plum Delight."

Ingredients

  • prunes - 11 lb (5 kg)
  • sugar - 5.5 lb (2.5 kg)
  • walnuts - 4 cups
  • oil
  • vanilla - 2 powder packets, optional
  • seeds - sunflower, for sprinkling
measures

How to make

Clean the prunes well and remove the pits. Put them in water to stew until completely soft and slightly mushed. Then pass them through a sieve.

Combine the sugar with the resulting paste and boil until thickening. Before removing from the heat, add the walnuts. On a greased paper towel, spread the mixture in a layer 1″ (2.5 cm) thick, sprinkle with sunflower seeds.

Leave it to dry, then cut it into uniform pieces or shapes. Optionally, you can roll thus prepared prune-flavored Turkish delight in powdered sugar, or coconut flakes. Keep it stored in boxes, arranged in rows and separated by paper.
