In a large pan, pour 2 cups flour and make a well. Add the crumbled cheese, egg, oil, salt. In the yogurt, dissolve baking soda and add it to the other products.
Knead dough gently and gradually add the remaining 1 cup and flour. Allow the dough to rest in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 390°F (200 °C). From the dough shape balls slightly larger than a walnut.
Arrange in a baking dish away from each other, because they double their volume in baking. On each ball, sprinkle a little grated cheese and poppy seeds. Bake cakes until golden. Do not anoint them with oil, because their oil is in the dough.
