  • water - 1 1/5 cups (270 ml)
  • oil - 3 tablespoons
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • yeast - 1 tsp, dry
  • flour - 1 4/5 cups (450 g)

How to make

Heat the water a little so it's not cold, pour it into the breadmaker. Add the sugar, salt and oil.

Sift the flour, pour it over the other ingredients.

Add the dry yeast on top. Turn the breadmaker on and choose basic bread #1.

Mine's a Moulinex, for the other brands you'll have to choose the appropriate setting as described in the manual. My family likes it with a medium baked crust, so that's what we choose.

The quality of your bread highly depends on the flour, so always use a good flour.
