"Today we`re presenting these somewhat different, yet very tasty, homemade phyllo pastries with rich filling that are quite nutritious."

Ingredients

  • phyllo pastry - 2 packets (use thicker sheets)
  • vienna sausages - 2
  • mayonnaise - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • chutney - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • feta cheese - about 14 oz (400 g)
  • cheese - about 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • pickles - 4 - 5

  • yogurt - 1 cup (250 g)

How to make

Open the 1st packet of phyllo pastry sheets and spread them out. Combine them 2 sheets at a time for a tougher, thicker phyllo pastry. Smear the first 2 and final 2 sheets with a little oil. Then start arranging the other products as you like.

Example: Start by arranging sheets with feta, then another 2 sheets and Vienna sausages, 2 sheets again, chutney and so on until out of sheets. After arranging, wrap the entire thing into 1 large roll and start cutting them into smaller ones.

Repeat this process with the other packet of sheets. Once you're done with it, arrange them in a lightly oiled tray, with the filling facing up. Beat the yoghurt with the 2 eggs and pour it over the phyllo pastries, 1 by 1, using a spoon.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until ready.
