Ingredients

  • bread - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • fruits - 5.5 oz (150 g) dried (cranberries, raisins, plums or - choice etc.).

  • butter - 1/5 cup (70 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • milk - 1 cup
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • cloves - chopped, to taste

How to make

Soak bread in water until tender, then drain the liquid. Mix it with dried fruit of choice, slightly melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves to taste.

Add eggs and mix with a spatula or spoon. Stir with milk until it is a soft texture that falls from the spoon for scooping. Pour the pudding in a small greased baking dish and put to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for about an hour.

Verify readiness with a stick, by spearing in the middle of the pudding. When you see no crumbs on it, the cake is ready. The finished pudding cools, turns and is sprinkled with powdered sugar.
