How to make

Marinate the meat 1-2 days in the outlined marinade. At the bottom of a stew dish, arrange thin slices of bacon. On these pieces put cabbage leaves, which are wrapped around the marinated steak, which had briefly been rolled in fat - just enough to be sealed and get a nice color.

Place the pieces tightly together. Add some cabbage juice. On request we can add toasted, or dried on the stove chilies. The casserole’s lid is sealed with dough of water and flour. Put in the oven and turn to 480°F (250 °C). Once the temperature reaches 480°F (250), reduce the oven to 350°F (175°C) to 360°F (180 °C) and bake for about 2 hours.

Serve with soft bread and a jug of red Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon wine. The meal is eaten slowly and with much appetite, but thereto shall be approached with due attention, because of the risk of overeating and the inherent risks of excessive drinking.

Cheers and bon appetit!
