Ingredients

  • flour - 2 cups (500 g)
  • baking powder - 1 cup
  • hot - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) water
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • olive oil - 3 tablespoons + for oiling

How to make

Peel the garlic cloves and press them.

Sift the flour, add the baking powder, salt and 3 tbsp olive oil.

Pour in warm water and knead a soft dough that's almost sticky.

Divide it into 8 balls and leave them for about 20 min.

Roll out each into a sheet on a floured counter.

Heat a thick-bottomed, nonstick pan. Sprinkle it with olive oil and bake the flatbread on all sides until ready.
