Why can’t you give the measurements in fractions of cups rather than ounces? Your way makes it twice as hard!

To Anonymous: I think it means to fill the tins half full of batter, then to the top with apples.

Why does the recipe say to only use half the cake batter? Do you mean full the muffins rings half full,
