Juice from various vegetables - these are not only refreshing beverages but also a way to fortify our body. Carrot juice is among the juices most valued and richest in vitamins. It possesses exceptional properties.
It contains many minerals and micronutrients that are important for the body - calcium, copper, phosphorous, iron and vitamins А, В, В1, В2, D, E, PP, K and others. This beverage boosts the body's defenses against infections, lowers cholesterol in the blood, prevents the development of certain cancers, improves vision, strengthens the immune system, improves kidney, liver and heart function.
The body takes the combination of carrot juice and spinach juice very well. If suffering from indigestion, anemia, gallbladder and eye diseases, it's recommended to drink a cocktail of 1 1/5 cups carrot juice, 4/5 cup cabbage juice, 2/5 cup beetroot juice, the juice of 1/2 bunch dill. Drink the juice in 2 portions, 2 hours after your lunch.
Another vegetable juice that shouldn't be overlooked is celery juice. Celery contains essential oil, vitamin C, magnesium, iron, organic sodium and others. That is why it's advised to take 1 cup of it in 2 portions. It's also good to mix it with carrot juice, while gradually increasing the amount of beetroot juice with each portion. This vegetable combination provides the body phosphorous, sulfur, potassium, vitamin A. Equal amounts of beetroot, carrot and turnip juice fortify the body and prevent the development of atherosclerosis.
Last but not least there's tomato juice. Tomatoes are rich in vitamins and minerals - magnesium, iron, calcium, vitamins B1, B2, C and beta carotene.
Tomato juice is exceptionally good for people with impaired metabolism, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular diseases. It is successfully used in weight loss diets, in combination with apple and lemon juice. Boiled tomato juice possesses antioxidant properties.
