There's more and more talk lately that one must regularly consume foods that have a cleansing effect on the human body.
Unfortunately, very frequently the only ones that are stressed as being able to do this are exotic fruits and vegetables, and even though they're widely available they are not accessible for every budget. Plus, their origin and quality are questionable. Here's why we're going to show which foods you should include in your daily diet, ones that are affordable for everyone besides everything else.
It should be noted that it's best if they're home-grown or for you to at least focus on eating them when they are actually in season, so you don't end up stuffing your body with chemicals instead of cleansing it. Also keep in mind that in order to achieve a cleansing effect, you have to consume at least 3 of the listed ingredients daily:
1. Celery and parsley
These 2 spices are used to season a number of dishes but it's best when they're eaten raw. Parsley has an overall cleansing effect on the body, while celery is particularly suitable for cleansing the kidneys.
2. Apples
We all know that they're loaded with vitamins. But if you're going after their cleansing effect specifically, it's best to eat them unpeeled. Simply wash them very well.
3. Potatoes
They're highly nutritious but barely contain any fats at the same time. They are rich in fiber and just like with apples it's best to consume them unpeeled. But when it comes to cooking, either boil, steam or roast them. Don't expect to detox your body with French fries, you might just gain extra pounds instead.
4. Grapes
They have a proven cleansing effect, since they are effective in fighting accumulated toxins in the body.
5. Beetroots and asparagus
The former is very healthy for the stomach, while asparagus has the same effect on the kidneys and liver.
6. Carrots
The fiber contained therein is excellent for cleaning out the stomach and intestines.
7. Lemons
Freshly squeezed lemon juice is a universal method for detoxifying the entire body. It's best if drunk in the morning before breakfast.
