It is even believed that common lady's mantle can aid in the attachment of the egg and the strengthening of the uterus. It is recommended for pregnant women to drink tea made from the herb up until the third month of pregnancy.

The combination of common lady's mantle and shepherd's purse even helps with hernia and uterine prolapse. Common lady's mantle is also suitable for problems with the gastrointestinal tract. It eases gastritis, diarrhea, abdominal cramps. It also gets rid of sand in the kidneys and gallbladder.

Common lady's mantle

Infusions of common lady's mantle can be made as follows:

- Put 2 cups (500 ml) of water to heat up on the stove. Once the water comes to a boil, pour it over 2 tablespoons of the herb and let it soak for 1 hour.

You can drink 1 wine glass of the infusion 3 times a day, always before meals. Besides drinking it, the thus made infusion is appropriate for lavages.

- You can make tea from common lady's mantle by pouring 4/5 cup (200 ml) of hot water over 1 tablespoon of the herb. Let it soak for 10 min, then strain.

- For compresses, it is best to use the herb fresh. Grind it using a rolling pin and then apply on the spot.

- Make a concoction by heating 2 cups (500 ml) of water. Once it comes to a boil, pour it over 2 tablespoons of the herb and return it to the stove to boil for another 3 min. Then let the concoction soak for half an hour and drink 1/3 cup (80 ml) of it 6 times a day. Drink it a quarter of an hour before meals and half an hour after.
