A healthy diet can boost immunity. This is especially important when you have a cold. What should you eat and drink during your illness to improve your condition?
Lots of liquids
When you feel sick, the body needs a lot of fluid. Ginger tea is a good choice for an upset stomach, fruit juices can help ease hunger-related dizziness, and lemon tea is a healing drink for colds and low immunity.
Green tea will support the immune system and if we add a spoonful of honey to it, it will deal with a sore throat.
Proteins
Adequate protein is important in any condition, whether you are healthy or sick. During the illness, it becomes difficult for the stomach to digest heavy food, such as juicy steaks for example, and it will take a lot of energy to prepare such a meal. A great meat substitute is eggs or plain yogurt. They also contain a lot of healthy protein and are a high immunity food.

It is a powerful antioxidant designed to fight infection. Glutathione is found in watermelons as well as cruciferous vegetables. To get it, when you are sick eat Broccoli Soup, Cruciferous Vegetable Broth, Kale, Cauliflower Soup.

Chicken, beef and vegetable broths are easy to digest and maintain the body's water balance. They are great when you have no appetite at all. If you feel hungry, then eat homemade soup. Sliced vegetables, whole grains and cooked meat contain extra vitamins and nutrients that the body needs so much of.
Products with vitamins B6 and B12
B vitamins are healing. So add fish, milk, cereals, potatoes, spinach and turkey to your diet. Trust me, it will help you recover sooner.
Natural yogurt
Choose only those that say Lactobacillus Casei and Lactobacillus Reuteri on the label. They are responsible for improving immunity.
For higher immunity, also eat onion soup, vitamin carrot salad and chicken soup.
