Cookies

Cookies are delicious to children and adults, they are a great dessert and decoration for the table. Tea and coffee taste better with a cookie.

Cookies in the shape of various animals and interesting figurines are an incredible joy for children. The flour for cookies should be of high quality.

The baking soda added at the tip of the knife helps to make a fluffier dough and makes the cookies golden in color. You should not overdo it with the soda, as it has a specific taste. To avoid this taste and aroma, add a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar to the soda.

Sometimes the dough is so soft and falls apart that even simple balls cannot be formed from it. Then the dough is put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

To make the cookies golden in color, spread them with beaten egg yolk before baking. To prevent poppy seeds and other types of sprinkles from falling off the surface of the dough, the dough is smeared with an egg and with the help of a small rolling pin, the seeds are lightly pressed into the dough.

The thinly rolled out dough is baked for no more than ten minutes. One of the easy recipes for cookies requires 200 grams of flour, 100 grams of butter, 50 grams of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cream or yogurt, 1 tablespoon of cocoa, 1 egg, 2 chilled egg whites, beaten with a little sugar.

Cut the softened butter, mix it with the flour, sugar, egg, cream and cocoa and leave the dough for half an hour in the refrigerator. Roll out the dough, cut it into rectangles or cut out shapes with cookie cutters and arrange them on a greased tray. Decorate each cookie with beaten egg white and bake in a heated oven.

The almond cookies are very tasty. You need 200 grams of almonds, 6 egg whites, half a teaspoon of flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Pour boiling water over the almonds, peel them and dry them. Crush them in a mortar, adding the sugar and egg whites in portions. Mix everything and heat on the stove.

Cool, add the flour and mix. Using a piping bag, make circles in a foil lined tray. Bake for twenty minutes at 120°C. Move the baked cookies with the foil and place them on a damp cloth and after a few minutes they will be easily removed.

The vanilla cookies are also very tasty. You need 350 grams of flour, 200 grams of cold butter, 125 grams of powdered sugar, 2 vanillas, 2 egg yolks.

Cut in the butter and gradually add the flour, by continuing to cut with a knife. The flour and butter will turn into crumbs.

Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and egg yolks until the mixture forms a lump-free dough. Roll out the dough, cut out cookies and bake in an oven heated to 180°C until golden.
