There are different ways to season pork chops and that depends on how we will prepare them later on. In most cases, a marinade is made in order to give the food a better taste, aroma and tenderness.
When it comes to marinating, two types of marinades are known - liquid marinades and dry ones. Each marinade should contain acid, oil and/or spices. Thanks to them, the meat becomes more tender.
The use of soy sauce, basil, parsley, garlic, black pepper, salt add an even better taste to pork chops.
The use of alcohol - brandy, cognac, vodka and others is also a good idea, because this way the meat is flavored and becomes quite fragrant during cooking.
In order to have well seasoned pork chops, it is necessary to mix the spices we have chosen together in a bowl and then soak the steaks inside.
Dry marinades are kept for no more than 24 hours in the refrigerator, the cut meat is mixed with spices - salt, black pepper, paprika, mustard, basil and oregano.
Marinated steaks turn out more tender and those soaked in liquid marinades become juicier.
Here are recipes for seasoning pork chops.
Steaks with wine - and the necessary ingredients for the marinade are the following - onion, garlic, wine, oil, salt, black pepper, bay leaf and butter. The marinating of the pork chops is done by cleaning the steaks from their skin and making incisions on both sides before soaking them in the marinade. This is done so that the marinade itself can be absorbed into the meat.
Once we have cut everything into small pieces and added the liquid ingredients, pour the marinade over the steaks and leave them in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Take out the steaks, but also set the marinade aside, in order to then add the butter and pour the mixture over the steaks.
In a pan, lightly fry them for 1 minute on both sides, 2 minutes for medium fried steaks, 4 minutes - for well-fried steaks.
And to the rest of the marinade add 4 tbsp (60 ml) of water, a piece of butter and boil the mixture until half of it evaporates. What you get is a delicious sauce from the marinade for the pork chops. Drizzle the steaks with the sauce and serve them with a garnish of your choice.
