How to Peel a Pumpkin?

There are two ways to peel a pumpkin - with a peeler or a knife. Since the pumpkin is a hard fruit, you must have a good quality peeler, otherwise it will break.

The other option - with a knife, is more practical, because you will not worry if something will break, but you need to be more careful and protect your fingers.

There are harder pumpkins, but there are also ones that are easier to process - such as the violina variety. In any case, any pumpkin is recommended to be cut into several smaller pieces to make it more comfortable to hold during peeling.

If it is wide and stable and can stand upright, such as the white round pumpkin, it is possible to peel it whole by placing it on a surface, pressing it firmly with one hand on top so that it does not move and with a sharp large knife with downward movements peel its skin.

You can peel a pumpkin and keep the peeled pieces in a cool place (in the fridge) and grab them whenever and however much you need, but the better way to store it is (for example, if you need half of it) to cut it in half and peel only one half and leave the other one with the peel and without removing the pumpkin seeds, as this will make it last longer.
