How to Peel a Pineapple?

Joking or not, connoisseurs say that pineapple is the best fruit of all and that is why Mother Nature has bestowed it with a real crown. Whatever we say, this incredibly tasty and juicy southern fruit has not only a superb taste, but also a number of useful properties that make it worth consuming daily.

Until a few years ago, pineapple was a real exotic fruit and people knew it mainly in the form of canned pineapple. Today, this fruit can be found in every store, almost all year round and there is no reason why it should not be part of your daily menu.

However, there are still people who avoid buying it, worried about how they will peel it. For their comfort, we will say that pineapple is very easy to peel.

Grab a well-ripened pineapple and lay it down. Then, with a sharp knife, remove the leaves along with about 2 cm of the fruit. Turn the pineapple over and remove the back part. It is placed standing up and with the knife the peel is cut from all sides.

The peeled pineapple is cut into slices or cubes, by avoiding the core, because it is not fit for consumption. After you have already peeled the pineapple, all that remains is to decide what to cook with it - chicken with pineapple, cake with pineapple or aromatic pork with pineapple.
