There are several methods by which we can reheat old steaks and restore them to their appetizing appearance.
Reheating steaks in the oven
The first method is to use the oven. It takes more time, but it makes the meat taste better. For it, we need to preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C). Then put a grid in a tray of the necessary size so that the heat can circulate freely from all sides.
Put the steaks on the grid and when the oven reaches the right temperature, put them in.
The heating time is 20 minutes, by checking them from time to time and making sure that the meat does not dry out. The heating time also depends on the thickness of the meat.
Reheating steaks in microwave
The second method is to reheat the steaks in the microwave. Thanks to it, the reheating time is greatly shortened. To prevent the meat from drying out, put the steak in a deep dish and cover it with a little broth or a little sauce.
This will keep the moisture in the meat. Cover the plate with a microwave cover and heat it for 30 seconds at medium temperature. Turn the steak over and heat it for another 30 seconds.
Reheating steaks in a pan
There is another way to reheat old steaks - in a pan. It should have a non-stick coating. Pour some broth into it. Let it heat up and add the steak. Heat it for about a minute. Here, thanks to the broth, the meat is given additional moisture and this way it does not dry out and remains tender and juicy.
And to make old steaks look even more appetizing, we can always make a quick sauce while we wait for our favorite beef steaks, pork neck steaks or chicken tender steaks to heat up .
