Without a doubt, chips are one of the favorite foods of many people around the world. However tasty they may be, it turns out that they are one of the most unhealthy foods, the regular consumption of which can cause irreparable damage to health due to the dangerous ingredients in them.

In the first place, regular consumption of chips causes obesity, which in turn causes many diseases - some forms of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Only 100 g of chips contain 40 g of fat and 500 calories.

Chips increase blood pressure and cholesterol, because it is very rich in trans fats. The deadly danger of chips comes from the accumulation of fatty plaques on the walls of blood vessels, as a result of which they narrow, become clogged and develop atherosclerosis.

It is believed, that chips can also cause mental health problems, especially in children. The reason for this is in the saturated fats, which interfere with the proper functioning of brain cells and cause serious damage to hormonal balance.

Chips rank among the foods, which are sources of empty calories. These are foods, that cause weight gain, but at the same time do not supply the body with useful substances.

From all this it follows that chips are one of the most harmful foods that a person can consume and the harm to children is even greater. Therefore, it is good to keep it to a minimum and look for healthy substitutes.
