How to Make Chocolate Topping?

Toppings are used to cover pastries - cakes, sponge cakes, ice cream and others. One of the most used toppings is chocolate. It is very easy to prepare and you do not need to buy it from the store, because there is nothing better than homemade pastries with homemade topping. Homemade chocolate topping is much better, doesn't take much time and the result is more than satisfactory. It is best to use quality chocolate, so that the topping is of good quality.

You need about 7 oz (200 g) of dark chocolate, 1 tbsp. butter and about 3 tbsp. milk. First, melt the chocolate in a water bath in a small saucepan, which is placed in a larger one, that is full of water. Stir constantly and once the chocolate has completely melted, add the milk and stir again.

Carefully add the butter at the end, stir again and remove it from the heat. The chocolate topping is ready in just a few minutes. Allow the mixture to cool slightly and use it as a glaze on the desired cake. We recommend that you use the whole amount at once and not leave it for other pastries.

We will give you another recipe that is a little different. For this topping you need about 200 g of flour, 400 ml of milk, 1.7 oz (50 g) of chocolate, 2 egg yolks and 2 tsp of flour. Put the milk and sugar on the stove and stir until the milk boils. Mix the flour with a little water and add it carefully to the boiling milk. Add the beaten egg yolks and grated chocolate. Stir until it thickens, but do not allow it to boil.

If you are a fan of chocolate delicacies, be sure to try these recipes:
