  • eggs - 1
  • milk - 1 cup
  • yeast - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g) fresh
  • oil - 1/2 cup (I use equal parts butter and oil)
  • vanilla sugar - 1
  • flour - about 2 cups (500 g)

How to make

Heat the milk slightly and dissolve the yeast in it. Add the egg, butter and vanilla sugar.

Knead a soft dough with the flour. Wrap in stretch wrap and leave in the fridge for a few hours.

Take the ready dough out and shape it into balls.

Make a wick out of each ball, then tie into a knot.

Roll in sugar and arrange in a tray with baking paper.

Bake in a preheated oven to a golden color.
