How to make
Pour the cool water, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Wait 5 min., add the oil, stir and start adding flour. Stir with your hands to form a dough.
The important thing is to add flour a little at a time, so the dough doesn't end up too hard. Once it's ready, leave to rise for 1 hour in a warm area.
Roll out into a sheet and cut out triangles, put a little jam or Turkish delight in them and wrap into scones. Arrange them in a tray with baking paper, smear with oil and beaten yolk.
Leave for another 30 min. to rise. Bake at 390°F (200 °C) until ready.
They also end up really tasty with a salty filling! They're still soft the next day as well.
