How to make
Take the butter and cream cheese out from the fridge ahead of time to soften.
Then mix them and add the flour with the cheese and the spices. The result is a soft dough that's pleasant to work with.
Leave in the fridge for awhile to harden.
Take it out, roll out to a thin sheet and cut into shapes or strips of your choice. Arrange them in a tray some distance apart, smear with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 480°F (250 °C) with both elements on for 6-10 min., depending on oven.
If you have any dough left over, you can keep it in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Or freeze it for longer-term storage.
