How to make
Rub the flour and butter with your hands into crumbs. Add the sugar, a little vanilla, crushed or sliced almonds, egg yolk. Knead them together to make a smooth dough.
From this dough, tear small pieces, form them into sticks as long as your index finger. Shape each stick into a roll or horse shoe.
Bake the scones in a baking dish that you've sprinkled with flour. The oven has to be on low. Roll the baked scones in powdered sugar mixed with the vanilla.
