"You think you`ve had spaghetti before? Just try these."

Ingredients

  • pasta - 1 packet of spaghetti, by choice
  • tomatoes - 28 oz (800 g)
  • anchovies - 1 tin
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • onions - 1 head green may
  • basil - 3 - 4 leaves
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp dried
  • salt - to taste
  • parmesan cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g) grated or other hard cheese

How to make

Cook the pasta according to it’s package directions and then drain it. Heat the olive oil in a large pan with a wide bottom and briefly fry crushed garlic.

Add half the crushed tomatoes - and allow the sauce to boil until thickened and with as little excess liquid as possible.

Add the remaining tomatoes, finely chopped.

After 10 minutes, add the anchovies and spices.

Add pasta to the pan, stir and remove from heat. Divide into bowls and garnish with grated Parmesan.
