  • butter - 1 packet
  • milk - 1/2 cup

How to make

Beat the eggs, sugar, flour and walnuts in a bowl. Separately, stir the cold milk with the baking powder and 1 vanilla packet, then pour it into the first mixture.

Cut up the sheets from 1 packet into fine strips and add them to the mixture. Stir everything well and pour it into an oiled and warm tray.

Cut up the sheets from the 2nd packet into fine strips, then distribute evenly in the tray on top of the mixture. Melt the butter and pour it on top, so it seeps in everywhere. Bake in a moderate oven at 390°F (200 °C).

In the meantime, boil the syrup. Leave the baklava to cool and pour the hot syrup over it.
