  • pork belly - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • potatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • curry - 1 tsp.
  • soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp.
  • red wine - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)

How to make

Clean and cut the potatoes into crescents.

Leave the meat whole.

Put the potatoes and meat in a tray, make a marinade from the wine, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic cloves and all of the spices.

Stir and pour this mixture over the meat and potatoes. Rub this mixture into the meat and potatoes, in order to season them well.

Take a baking bag, place the meat in it carefully, add the potatoes and pour in any remaining marinade from the tray. Tie the bag, put it in a clean tray and place in the oven.

Bake the meat at 320°F (160°C) for 1 1/2 hours, then open the bag, turn the oven up to 360°F (180°C) and bake for another 30 min.
