  • hamburger buns - 4, large
  • chicken meat - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • onions - 2 heads
  • champignons - 7 oz (200 g)
  • peppers - 2, red
  • chutney - 4 tablespoons, coarsely ground
  • white wine - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • mayonnaise - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • thyme
  • cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons

How to make

Boil the chicken meat and tear it or cut it into pieces. You can use the meat from legs, fillets or the whole chicken.

Clean and chop the onions and braise in the olive oil, add the chopped red peppers, stir and cook for a few min.

Next, add the cleaned and chopped champignons, braise briefly and pour in the wine.

Stir and cook until the liquid evaporates, season to taste and remove from the stove.

Put the chicken meat in a bowl, pour in the mixture from the pan, add the mayonnaise and stir everything.

Cut off the top parts of the hamburger buns and carve out their insides. Leave the bottom intact. Smear the insides with the chutney.

Pour in meat and veggie mixture into each of the buns and grate cheese on top.

Arrange them in a tray, put the hamburger tops around them and put in the oven to bake until the cheese turns golden.
