Ingredients

  • chicken - 1, about 6.5 lb (3 kg)
  • mushrooms - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • shallots - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • mayonnaise - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • sour cream - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • processed cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • all purpose spice - 1 tbsp
  • chicken broth - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)

How to make

Portion the chicken, wash and boil it in salted water until semi-cooked. Take the meat out from the broth but save it and leave the meat to cool.

Arrange the chicken in a tray that you've smeared with the mayonnaise beforehand. Distribute the cleaned and washed shallots and chopped mushrooms in between the meat.

In a bowl, mix the sour cream with the chopped processed cheese, add the all purpose spice and pour in 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) of the chicken broth, stir until the processed cheese melts.

Pour this mixture over the dish and sprinkle with black pepper to taste. Cover the tray with aluminum foil and put it in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven, bake until the meat is ready.

10 min. before taking the tray out of the oven, remove the foil and sprinkle the dish with the grated cheese.

Take the tray out of the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve the dish with baked, boiled or fried potatoes, as desired.
