How to make
In a bowl, beat the egg with the powdered sugar, while stirring with a fork. Add the vanilla, melted pork lard, baking powder and stir with the orange juice until effervescent, then knead a medium-hard, nonstick dough with the flour.
Divide it into 2 parts, add the cocoa to 1 and knead well until it's evenly colored. Leave the dough covered in foil in the fridge for 20 min.
Cut out circles from the white and brown dough, then cut out stars in the middle of each. Switch the places of the stars, put the white ones in the brown circles and the brown stars in the white circles.
Arrange them in a tray with baking paper and bake at 360°F (180 °C) for 10 min. to a light pink hue.
Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar. You can store them in a box until the holidays.
Tasty and crunchy.
