In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, then add the yoghurt with the baking soda beaten in it, the melted lard, vanilla, lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger and ammonium bicarbonate.
These spices make the cookies not only festive but incredibly delicious.
Knead a medium-thick flour with sifted flour.
Tear a ball from it, flatten it with your palms, place a piece of Turkish delight and form into a ball. Dip each into beaten egg white and roll in a mixture of ground walnuts and sugar.
Arrange them in a buttered tray or onto baking paper.
Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven 20-25 min.
Take them out and arrange in platter.
