How to make
It's best to have all the products at room temperature. Sift the flour and form a well. Pour the baking powder in the yoghurt and pour on 1 tbsp lemon juice. Stir and leave it to bubble.
Add all the ingredients to the flour and knead a soft dough. Roll out a sheet about 1/4 from the dough onto a lightly floured counter. Cut the sheet into strips up to 3/4″ (2 cm) wide. Cut all of the long strips into 3, about 4″ (10 cm) in length.
Heat a generous amount of oil in a deep container and fry 3 sticks at a time. Flip them over and redden on both sides.
Serve the sticks with a garnish of choice.
