How to make
Mix together all the ingredients for the marinade and boil it. Leave it to cool. Wash and dry the tomatoes.
Arrange them in jars and pour on the prepared marinade. The spices listed are for 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup water. If needed, double or triple their quantities - depending on how many tomatoes you intend to can.
After 2-3 days, the marinade will turn murky. Pour it into a pot and boil it again. After it cools, pour it back over the tomatoes. Store it in a cool area.
