How to make
Put 1 cup warm water, the fresh yeast and sugar in a bowl. Stir with a spoon until the yeast dissolves and leave it to bubble for about 10 min.
Then add the remaining warm water and salt. Start pouring in a little of the flour at a time until you obtain a dough. Smear it with oil and leave it in a warm area to rise.
Then roll out a sheet and cut the lower half into strips. Weave the strips together in pairs.
Roll up the upper half into a roll and wind the woven strips all about it.
Wrap everything into a spiral pattern and place the loaf in an oiled tray. Smear the top with egg yolk and bake at 360°F (180 °C) until ready. Once it's ready, take it out and smear with melted butter.
