"Today we`ve prepared this uniquely delicious and easy cake with cozonac and a whole lot of cream for you."

Ingredients

  • cozonac - 23 oz (650 g)
  • pudding - 2, vanilla/cream flavored
  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 L)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • orange juice - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • citrus peels - 2 oz (50 g), candied
  • coconut flakes
  • for decoration
  • almonds - sliced
  • white chocolate
  • dark chocolate

How to make

Boil the puddings with the milk and sugar.

Cut the cozonac into 1/2″ (1.5 cm) pieces. Arrange the pieces in a form with removable sides.

Syrup with orange juice and pour in part of the cream (hot). Cover with more pieces of cozonac.

Pour in more cream, sprinkle with walnuts, citrus peels and coconut flakes.

Place more cozonac pieces, pour on juice and finish off with cream. Leave in the fridge overnight.

Bake the almonds in a dry pan until golden. Release the cake from the form and stick the almonds along the sides.

Decorate with grated chocolate.
