How to make

Knead a soft dough, shape it into a round bread and leave for 30 min. to rise. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until ready. Leave the bread to cool completely.

If you don't want to knead, you can buy a loaf of bread and just fill it.

Cut the bread into small squares vertically and horizontally (like a grid), without cutting into the bottom - it needs to be whole.

Combine the soft butter with the ground garlic and finely chopped onions.

Put some of the garlic mixture into each of the cuts and sprinkle with grated cheese all over.

Cover the whole bread (including on the underside) with aluminum foil and put it in a tray.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 20 min. on the top element only.

Remove the foil and crisp another 5-10 min., depending on your oven.
