How to make
Clean the carps and wash them. Sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper.
Chop the onions into crescents and saute them with the carrot in part of the oil, then add the walnuts, the finely chopped parsley, several black pepper peppercorns, raisins, wine and salt to taste.
Stuff the carps with this mixture and sew them closed. Put the remaining onion mixture in an oven dish, add the tomatoes, 2-3 tbsp oil and 1/2 cup water. Place the stuffed carps on top and bake in a moderate oven.
