Easy Apple Cake

Beat the yolks with the sugar until whitened. Mix the grated apples with the cinnamon, semolina and add them to the yolks.

Stir well and add the grated lemon rind, vanilla and cocoa. Beat the egg whites to hard snow and carefully mix them with the cake mixture.

Pour the mixture into a greased cake form put it to bake in a moderately heated oven at about 350°F (175 °C) for about 30 min. Finally, check to see if it's ready with a toothpick and bake some more if it comes out moist.
