  • lettuce - 1 head, large
  • pomegranates - 1/2
  • buckwheat - 1 cup
  • green onions - 1 bunch
  • walnuts - 3 - 4, coarsely ground
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp, extra virgin
  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • himalayan salt - to taste

How to make

Clean the buckwheat and blanch it in 2 cups water. Once the seeds pop, it's ready (but don't boil it too much). Strain it.

Chop the lettuce coarsely. Add the chopped green onions, ground walnuts and the seeds of 1/2 a pomegranate.

Add the buckwheat, that has been boiled and drained well. Season with olive oil, apple cider vinegar and salt.
