"In a perfect world, a Nutella fudge brownie would have exactly 0 calories."

Ingredients

  • for the brownie layer
  • butter - 3/4 cups, melted
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • eggs - 2
  • flour - 3/4 cup
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • cocoa - 4 - 5 tbsp
  • vanilla
  • orange zest - 2 tsp
  • for the fudge layer
  • condensed milk - 1 1/2 cups (380 g), sweetened, (1 can)
  • butter - 2 tbsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 1/2 cups
  • liquid chocolate - 1 cup, Nutella
measures

How to make

Sift the flour with the salt, baking powder and cocoa. Beat the melted butter with the sugar. Add the eggs 1 by 1 to the dry ingredients. Beat until the mixture becomes homogenized and add the orange zest and vanilla. Heat the oven to 360°F (180 °C).

In the meantime, cover an oven dish with baking paper (I used an 8″ (20 cm) x 9 1/2″ (24 cm) one). Bake for about 20 min. or until ready. Cool it.

Prepare the fudge layer by mixing all the ingredients for it and melting them either in a water bath or in the microwave but be careful because the mixture must not come to a boil.

Stir nonstop, you have to get a smooth cream. Smear it on the now-cooled layer and leave it for at least 2 hours in the fridge. Cut the dessert into the desired pieces.

Note: You can add dried fruits or nuts to the layer or cream. If you prefer fresh fruits, you can simply slice them thin and put them between the layer and cream.
