How to make
Boil, debone and cut the chicken meat into coarse pieces. Prepare the marinade and mix it well with the chicken. Let it sit for about 15-20 min.
Cut the onions into strips and braise them in 2-4 tbsp oil, next put the chicken along with the marinade in it and fry until slightly thickened. The end result is very delicious and sweet chicken.
Note: If you happen to have mirin, you can substitute 2 tbsp of sake with 2 tbsp of it. This ingredient is present in the original Teriyaki Sauce recipe. It is even sometimes used as a substitute for sugar and soy sauce but always in small amounts.
