How to make
Beat the egg with the powdered sugar, add the melted lard, vanilla and flour and knead a medium stiff dough.
Rip walnut-sized pieces from it, form into a ball, stick a piece of walnut in the middle of each.
Arrange them in a buttered tray. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 12-15 min.
Take them out and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
