Ingredients

  • flour - 2 cups (500 g) + a little for rolling
  • eggs - 1
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • yeast - 1/2 cube
  • salt - 1 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • oil - 4 tbsp
  • water - 2/5 cup (100 ml), warm
  • baking soda - 1 pinch
  • feta cheese - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • olive oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
measures

How to make

In a small bowl, mix the yeast, sugar and a little water and leave it to rise. Mix with the yoghurt and part of the sifted flour.

Add the oil, salt and water. Continue with the flour. Knead a soft dough. Leave it in a warm area in a covered bowl for 40 min.

Once the dough rises, rip it into small balls about the size of a tennis ball. Roll them out thinly with a rolling pin or with your hands. Use flour to help you.

Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top and pour drops of olive oil on top. Wrap them into a roll and then into a circle with a knot. Roll them out thinly once again.

Bake on both sides in a Teflon pan until ready. To this for all the balls of dough.

You can eat this flatbread on its own as a snack or as a substitute for your usual bread.
