"Pork shank is one of our favorite meats, it is both soft and delicious and with this honey marinade it will practically melt in your mouth."

Ingredients

  • pork shanks - 1
  • mushrooms - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • carrots - 2
  • tomatoes - 5 tbsp, canned
  • onions - 3 heads
  • broth - 1 cube
  • for the marinade
  • honey - 5 tbsp
  • mustard - 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice - of 2 lemons
  • red wine - 1 cup

How to make

Prepare a marinade from the listed ingredients and smear the pork shank with it.

Let it sit for 3 hours. Then place it in a buttered clay pot, along with the coarsely chopped vegetables and the tomatoes from the can.

Sprinkle the dish with the crumbled broth cube and pour in about 2 cups of water.

Cover the pot with its lid and bake 3-4 hours at 300°F (150 °C).
