"We choose to live dangerously, so we`re gonna eat fried fritters, sprinkled with plenty of powdered sugar, until we`re full."

Ingredients

  • flour - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • eggs - 4
  • powdered sugar - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g) + some for sprinkling
  • milk - 2 1/5 cups (550 ml)
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - for frying

How to make

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the powdered sugar, baking soda and salt. While stirring nonstop, add the warmed milk.

Begin adding the flour as well until you get a thick dough.

Cover the bowl and leave in a warm area for 3-4 hours.

Heat the oil, take spoonfuls of the dough and drop them into the oil.

Take the ready fritters out onto a napkin to drain any excess oil and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
